My attitude of gratitude most likely stems from my maternal grandmothers influence on my life. Her name was Odessa Inez, most knew her as Inez most of her 92 years of life. I simply knew her as Grandma, and her life impacted mine greatly since she cared for me as a little girl till I began school. Everything she did in life she did with gratitude, and I never recall hearing her say anything unkind about a soul. So, I guess you could say she "Payed her spirit of gratitude on to me". And now I will do the same for each of you, my readers. Instead of selecting 10 people, I select you all! Please take this award and post on your blog from me! You each deserve it!

I first met you after I posted my Meta Monday post where I transformed (payed someone else to do it) a fur coat left to me by my grandmother into customized teddy bears and named them Claude, after my dad. You are a hoot (a kind comment when you live in the south), and I love getting to know you better every day!

I have been tagged! Here is my photo: 6th Folder, 6th Photo... "Flowers" from a window box that were taken in June '08 while visiting the Billy Graham Conf. Ctr, The Cove, in Ashville, NC. I love all flowers! There is nothing more beautiful, unless it's my grandchildren Tyler & Cate! What drew us to The Cove that weekend was a visiting author, Larry Crabb, that was a featured speaker for two days. Both my husband and I had read his book, "Shattered Dreams" and it changed our life at a time that needed much healing and restoration. We felt compelled to finally get to meet him and learn more about his writings. If you ever get a chance to go visit The Cove.....it's well worth the visit. These little posies are just one teency reason. They greet you in lovely flowerboxes outside the main building which is nested within the Carolina Mountains...if one could feel any closer to God, it would be in the center of the highest part of a mountain..and this is where I found photo #6, & God was there too! =)
