These R a few of my F*A*V*O*R*I*T*E things!

A Teacup Chandelier...and in my favorite Blue & Whites...
Stopping by my favorite place at Aunt Bee's! The first thing you find is her glass jar of cookies to your right on the counter! I'll have one today Aunt Bee, Thank You! :)
Next to the cookie jar, you'll find her business cards...she's the SWEETEST lady you'll ever meet!
She serves piping hot coffee to drink free while I roam the 70+ vendors in her Antique Shoppe
How can I not fall in love with this oil on canvas?
And teacups galore, this one was "only" $4~
I couldn't walk away without falling in love with this pink hand inscribed bedroom dresser...Oh, how I want that! It spells out PINK just walking by it! Lovin it... This caught my eye as SOON as I walked in! French & Fab!
This next item, only $8! A "totally" fabulous purchase! I can't wait to wear a vintage black dress and wear this little lady! You'll see her below with a special piece in my collection of vintage wear!
These little piggies cried all the way home...not really! :) But they'd like to! I already have my own Kitchen Piglet - these are ONLY $15 or less. I think they are $13.99. If you're interested in them, post a comment and I'll call Aunt Bee to see if they are still there. They ARE a super catch! The little chalkboards are removable too.
How do you like my vintage hat with the vintage black slip that belonged to my grandmother? I want to get a pic wearing these together... Vintage is SO chic! The armoire was a great purchase at a yardsale two years ago for $75. We use it for the TV in the Pink Guest room!
This, "I HOPE" will be the next hat I add to my collection! She's only $10! Can't you just see this on me? I can too! ;)
And this lovely? She's a plant......I met her at the Athens GA Botanical gardens last week. Isn't she a BEAUTY?
Thanks for dropping by and enjoying a few of my favorite things!
Hugs to all~

Primrose Lane ~ A Sweet Vintage Haven both Inside & Out!

In a little piece of Heaven on Earth, you'll find Primrose Lane. She's a little Vintage Boutique in Franklin, NC. June is the owner of the boutique, and she's just as sweet as the shoppe's name!
I fell in love with this little Haven and just had to snap pics with June's approval to share with all my friends in Blogland. I have nothing to gain from sharing June's information, with the exception of a sense of hope that we will all keep her in business by visiting her if you're in the Franklin, NC area. I want her to never fade away, nor the boutique! ;)
Here you will find precious ornament chandeliers & floral umbrellas hanging from the lattice suspended from the ceiling... Parisian items for all us Francois lovers, chic hats for all occasions, shawls, teacups, and on an on and on! To the right of her entryway of the boutique you'll see a Bistro Tablescape all set up, as if to invite you in to sit and stay awhile! Tea anyone? ;)
The photo of the home outside is one taken nearby Primrose Lane that I couldn't resist sharing, somehow it made it's way into this post! ;)

And for the finale in the Primrose Lane post, you can finish the visit off in the nearby Coffee Haus & Pub if you've overspent your budget when you visit her in Franklin! ;) On the opposite side of this Coffee Haus is a great big Antique Barn that we enjoyed and it was "BIG"! ;)
Be sure to drop by the following blogs this week to enjoy all the other wonderful posts:
Hope you've enjoyed your visit at Primrose Lane today! Give June a call if you've seen something you can't live without! I'm sure she'd be happy to ship something to your door, for sure! ;)
You can also email her at hjune2@gmail.com to let her know how much you enjoyed learning about her boutique in this post if you like! I'm sure she'd appreciate the hello and feedback on the items featured in this post.

Il agit de des amis, An Early Blue Monday & Meta Monday share!

Bonjour les Amis
Il agit de des amis aujourd'hui! ~ It's all about friends today! =)
Oui?
Come, pour a cup of tea from my Blue Italian Spode Tea pot and sip awhile! You can even drink from "Rose Haven", my Blue Italian Spode teacup named after our very own Jan & Tom's blog, "Rose Haven"!

Wait a minute...or two, what's a gal to do without a Tea Cozy? Her friend makes her one? Oui?
Be sure to click on each logo for Meta Monday with Susan at Between Naps on The Porch and Sally over at Smiling Sally's for Blue Monday! Since I'm extremely early for the occasion, you may need to wait to drop on by their place till late Sunday or early Monday! ;) Remember, it's the Early Bird that always gets the worm, and this week I want it~ ;) just kidding...
A few years back a friend of mine loaned me her tea cozy made in England so I could figure out how to make a copy of it. Being raised with a mother as a seamstress, I was born to sew...that is after I learned from observing from Mother! ;) The first one I made I was quite proud of., I've shared it in a previous Tablescape Thursday...it was in shades of butter gold and blues.

Recently I got the itch to make another one...and this one was for a special friend, Claudie, from "Bubblin Over". With each piece of fabric I cut, I was excited...each stitch that I sewed on my Singer...I got more excited, and with each hand stitch I put into it...I visualized her using it all the way up in Canada when she has a friend over for tea. You see Claudie is all about pastels...
I found this "blue" vintage lace in my stash that I'd picked up...the fabric reminded me of the colors in her kitchen she loves...
I had purchased this lovely garland with soft shades of pinks and yellows and had it in my stash...hmm I thought, can I? Well, I'm gonna try! Yep, gonna try! ;)
I wanted the inside of the Tea Cozy to be pretty too...so I lined it with a nice contrasting color of fabric with a smaller floral print. I lined the cozy with flannel to keep the teapot all nice and "cozy", of course, while the tea is steeping! ;) Before I mailed it off, I had a "Handmade by Catherine" tag that I hand sewed inside the lining so Claudie will always remember that it was crafted especially for her from "moi" when we're in our 90's and she's using it! (smile) We have quite a ways to go yet, eh?
A~ha, I knew I could use that garland, when I attached the little pink loop at the top, it just needed that lil something extra...and that's exactly where some of the garland decided to take root...it's a FLORAL Tea Cozy, for real now! Not only are they on the fabric, their sprouting from the top as well! ;)
Here's a view from the top as she's seated nicely over the Tea Pot!
Un Thé Floral Confortable fait avec l'amour pour Claudie ! A another view as she's laying flat to appreciate the little vintage blue lace trim.
And, a final front view of only my second custom created Tea Cozy for my special friend Claudie!
I'm getting the itch to make a Royal Velvet tea cozy with Bejeweled buttons on it. I think I'll call it a
"Royal-Tea "Tea"Cozy"
What color do you think I should make it in?
A Royal Blue or Purple?
I may just decide to make one and use for my 100th Post Give Away...hmmm....yep, maybe I will!
Don't forget to leave your comment and tell me what Color you think I should make it in!

A Collection Isn't Always Planned, Sometimes They Just Happen...

A birthday gift to me of Blue & White Spode spawned a love for "Italian" Spode China
My husband and I had already fell in love with cobalt blue glassware and my son's fiancee knew this. She was working at a location where there was a tea set for four of the Spode design called "Italian", and it was in Blue & White. She and my son not only got me the tea set for four, they also got me the creamer, sugar, and a Dessert serving platter that you see under this Spode Teapot.
The Teapot became my Christmas Gift for 2007, and it was a lovely addition to what was now my new collection. Throughout the years since my first Spode items fell into my possession, I have now acquired some new family members. My daughter blessed me with a covered serving dish, it's gorgeous!
So...when you least suspect it, you TOO could be caught off guard by receiving a gift that could very well start you off on your own new collection~ Whether Blue & White Spode, or Te`a Mutts, like the ones you'll find on this blog... I'm sure your collections will bring you much enjoyment as mine have given me.
Until later, Catherine......enjoying a Cuppa~
