Pinknique! And I'm SO excited!

Thanks to Beverly from "How Sweet The Sound" for hosting the Fabulous Pink Saturday! Once you scroll down and view my very first "Pinknique" post, make sure you return to Beverly's by clicking on the hyperlink above so you can see what others are posting Pink today!

Meet my adorable mini porcelain individual creamer with the "Pinknique" roses. She sits perched on my new miniature cake pedestal. The creamer measures just 4.5 inches tall and is extremely delicate. My daughter Kim blessed me with this. The saucer she sits on is what I call a "te`a mutt saucer, an odd saucer that doesn't have a matched cup. Odd tea cup saucers can be used for anything, and this little demitasse saucer worked perfectly for this creamer!
In absolutely perfect condition, the creamer is stamped with the following:

A special friend, Janet, treated me to this exclusive designed Roy Kirkham English Rose Tea Pot with Shades of "Pinknique" as a going away gift when I moved from PA to NC in '99. Most times we pick our own friends, Janet was a friend that God picked for me...and what a great pick He made! I think of her every time I pour a cuppa with this "Pinknique".
Another "Pinknique" showoff! Val and I have been friends for nearly 20 years. She is an expert needlepoint crafter. She has a house full of work she's crafted and this was one of them that hung proudly in her home for many years. The last time I visited her she decided to share her with me. The pattern is "Pink Dogwood".
And, I totally enjoy this "Pinknique" item, since it's a tray. You know how I love serving trays... The frame is a dark mahogany stain and has simple handles, so as to not distract from the needlepoint work. I adore this piece! The doily that sits beneath the "Pink Dogwood Tray" is white tatting with a "Pinknique" center. Collectively, all these make a great presentation when I have a guest over for an afternoon tea. The only thing that's missing is a "Pinknique" teacup!
Ok, I'm all "Pinkniqued" out for today, see you next week!
Thanks again Beverly for the great idea of Pink Saturday!

What pretty pinks you have! I love this event, but I look around and realize the only pink things I own are two pink polo shirts lol. I especially love that teapot from your friend, it's really lovely. Kathy

I'm loving all of your pink. How wonderful that they were all gifts. It was so nice of your friend, Val, to give you the tray. The dogwood flowers are beautiful. I know she had to spend hours on it.

Oh how lovely the needle point is...and love how you have it in a serving tray. What a wonderful idea. I have always wanted to learn how to do that...but time flys and I never get to it. Maybe someday.

Happy Pink Saturday Catherine. I love your blog banner, as I have been hunting for that perfect vintage chandelier for my studio for quite a while. Your saucer looks like it is "Shelley" china in their "Dainty" shape ~very pretty finds!
